Why: to support habitat for wildlife, build soil and aid stormwater drainage.
And hey, those tall plants out there are called frostweed, and if it freezes next week (rumor has it! 🥶), their stems will do some cool stuff, you should stop by to check them out the next day!

This fall I was one of 8 artists selected to create a short projection for #dublinwinterlights, shown on the General Post Office (GPO) through the month of December. Today is the last day.
The theme of the festival was "Grow." My piece, "We the Weeds," aka "Travels of the Lesser Centaury," is about 3 plants that originated across the pond, traveled via human activity to North America, and naturalized here -- clover, dandelion (as seen in the stills), and the centaury plant, encountered in the Rigolets/Honey Island Swamp/Pearlington area. With this project I've learned alot about contrast and communication, lessons to use in a new year. Reading "The Light Eaters" 🌱🌿🌞🤯 A profound reset in thinking about the earth.
