Thrilled for the launch of the interactive timeline of the life of Katherine Johnson! David and I worked the summer and fall on this for Ben Franklin’s new STEAM Center, which bears her name. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with her granddaughter Katherine Sanders (who lives and works in New Orleans!) to highlight her grandmother’s legacy. Thanks to Katherine Sanders, Ben Franklin High School, the Infinity Science Center at Stennis NASA, and Jonathan Bertsch. And yes there IS a Katherine Johnson Barbie! The school needs someone to donate one to the display area!
