We, The Weeds at Dublin Winter Lights
“We the Weeds” is selected as one of 8 projection-mapped videos screening on the Dublin General Post Office (GPO) as part of Dublin Winter Lights, a massive light festival up through the month of December, 2024. I collaborated with Alex McMurray on the music. The theme of the GPO was “Grow.”
The video takes as its inspiration three plants that traveled from Northern Europe to North America and grow in New Orleans: clover (3 different kind!), centaury, and dandelion.
