Drive by 2100 Leon C. Simon and see its spring bloom.
Its purpose is to provide habitat and ecosystem support for bugs, birds and more - as well as absorbing rain and keeping it from running off into the street. Oh yes - and it’s beautiful.

No, nope, that is not what the #NolaWildflowerMeadow currently looks like (swipe for that), but now we are prepping for spring so we can sow seeds and plant starts. We could use your help raking and weeding, as we bask in your lovely company!
When: Saturday Jan 18th 10am-noon
Where: 2100 Leon C. Simon Blvd
Why: to support habitat for wildlife, build soil and aid stormwater drainage.
And hey, those tall plants out there are called frostweed, and if it freezes next week (rumor has it! 🥶), their stems will do some cool stuff, you should stop by to check them out the next day!
